Before joining Noel Jones, I was part of a larger real estate group spanning Australia and New Zealand. While the scale and resources of such a large organisation had undeniable benefits the challenge was that these resources were often generic and didn’t align with the unique needs of my local market. We frequently had to customise material to make it relevant to the eastern suburbs of Melbourne.

At the same time, I had observed the struggles of independent agencies, which lacked the branding, marketing support, and infrastructure provided by a larger group. They were often left to fend for themselves, limiting their ability to scale effectively.

Although previously I was running a successful agency, there was always a level of hesitation when employing new agents; many felt that there were no strong career pathing opportunities available, or that they were at best, limited. This is no longer an issue I face.
