  • Initial payments must be made by Electronic Transfer or Bank Cheque within 24 hours after approval of the application. No personal cheques are accepted.
  • Keys will not be handed over until the lease agreement has beensigned by all applicants.
  • This application is accepted subject to the availability of the property on the due date and no action shall be taken by the applicant against the residential rental provider and the agent should any circumstances arise where the property is not available for occupation on the due date.


  1. The tenant acknowledges that the Agent/Residential Rental Provider may send notices via electronic means, and pursuant to the Electronic Transactions (Victoria) Act 2000 the tenant acknowledges that;
  2. The tenant consents to the receiving of certain notices and this application in writing and confirms that the email address provided in the original application form will be used by the agent/Residential Rental Provider for the purpose of receiving suck notices.
  3. The tenant acknowledges that if they change email addresses during the term of the tenancy then it is the tenant's responsibility to notify the Agent/Residential Rental Provider, in writing, of the new email address for the purpose of receiving Notices via electronic means. A failure to do so, shall not render notice invalid.
  4. The tenant acknowledges to enter into a binding agreement if the contract is signed by electronic signature.

Consent to the disclosure of information on this form to HOOD ABN 58 628 518 301 for the purpose of arranging the connection of nominated utility services; consent to HOOD disclosing personal information to utility service providers for the stated purpose and obtaining confirmation of connection; consent to HOOD disclosing confirmation details (including NMI, MIRN, utility provider) to the Real Estate Agent, its employees and HOOD may receive a fee/incentive from a utility provider in relation to the connection of utility services; acknowledge that while HOOD is a free service, a standard connection fee and/or deposit may be required by various utility providers; acknowledge that, to the extent permitted by law, the Real Estate Agent, its employees and HOOD shall not be liable for any loss or damage (including consequential loss and loss of profits) to me/us or any other person or any property as a result of the provision of services or any act or omission by the utility provider or for any loss caused by or in connection with any delay in connection or provision of, or failure to connect or provide the nominated utilities. I acknowledge that HOOD record all calls for coaching, quality and compliance purposes.


By ticking the terms and conditions and declaration box on this application form you:

  1. Specifically consent to Hood receiving information regarding you, all applicants for the premises, the premises and other information necessary to provide the Hood Services to you. The information may include personal information.
  2. Acknowledge and accept Hood’s Terms and Conditions (which are included with this application) and understand the scope of the services Hood are providing to you. For the avoidance of doubt, the Hood Services include the negotiations with you relating to the supply of relevant services as agents for the service providers and to market or promote any of these services to you.
  3. Invite Hood to contact you by any means (including by telephone or SMS even if your telephone number is on the Do Not Call Register) and expressly consent to such contact by Hood in order for Hood to provide the Hood services to you. This consent will continue for a period of 1 year from the date you enter the Agreement.
  4. Consent to Hood disclosing your information, including your personal information, for the purposes of arranging for the connection of the nominated services. You acknowledge and agree that where service providers are engaged by you, they may also use your information, including your personal information, for the purposes of connecting, supplying and charging you for the utility services.
  5. Acknowledge and agree that Hood will use your personal information in a manner consistent with Hood’s privacy policy which is accessible at https://
  6. Authorise Hood to obtain the National Metering Identifier and/or the Meter Installation Reference Number for the premises you are moving to.
  7. Agree that, except to the extent provided in the Terms and Conditions, Hood has no responsibility to you for the connection or supply (or the failure to connect or supply) any of the utility services.
  8. Acknowledge that the Hood service is provided to you free of charge, but Hood may receive a fee from service providers, part of which may be paid to the real estate agent or another person, and that you are not entitled to any part of any such fee.
