Meet Our June CSP Grant Winner

Congratulations to Viv’s Recare, on being our June CSP Grant recipient. Viv’s ReCare hosts fortnightly community lunches offering carers and those they care for the chance to relax and chat to people in similar situations, in a fun, friendly, safe environment. Guests receive entertainment, live music and activities, all whilst enjoying morning tea and a delicious, two course, home-cooked lunch, at no cost. If you can assist Viv’s ReCare in the great work they do supporting our local community or would like to attend an event visit Viv’s ReCare.

With the cost of living skyrocketing, many are struggling to afford basic essentials like food and heating. For our patrons, who are some of the most vulnerable in society, facing dementia or terminal illness daily, the funds from Noel Jones are an absolute lifeline.

These funds enable Viv’s ReCare to continue providing free fortnightly lunches and mentally stimulating activities in a warm and friendly space for our guests and their carers, who will also benefit from much-needed respite” – Viv’s Recare.

Noel Jones Community Support Program

The Noel Jones Community Support Program supports three main groups in our communities:
• Charity Groups and Events
• Junior Sports Stars and Clubs
• Schools and Kinders

Allocation

Each month one grant of $1000 is awarded with each monthly recipient going into the draw for a further yearly grant of $5000.

How

A percentage of each sale made through the Noel Jones network is apportioned to Noel Jones CSP to support our local communities.

How to apply for a grant

If your organisation or event falls within our support categories you may apply for a Noel Jones CSP grant. Applicants can apply once per financial quarter, (and will need to reapply each quarter to be reconsidered for the next round of grants) with nominations being judged on the following criteria:
– Groups and organisations that aim to support and strengthen our local communities
– Groups and organisations that are in close proximity to the Noel Jones network
– Groups and organisations that provide opportunities for Noel Jones staff to participate and volunteer
