Wheelers Hill has much to offer, yet many are still to discover why it’s so highly- regarded by its residents. Obviously, the amount of open green space is appealing, as are the choice of shopping precincts, with Brandon Park and Wheelers Hill Shopping Centre both offering great options for day to day needs.
Housing
Many Wheelers Hill homes have 4 plus bedrooms, making them ideal for family living. Many were custom built and it’s not unusual to see modernist features including vaulted timber lined ceilings, large windows, exposed bricks plus the use of different levels to define spaces.
Schools
There’s 4 State Primary’s and 2 Catholic Primary’s plus Wheelers Hill and Brentwood Secondary Colleges. The well-regarded Caulfield Grammar also calls Wheelers Hill home, offering a quality education from Kinder to Year 12.
Parks and Recreation
The most notable recreation facility is Jells Park, with the Eastlink and Dandenong Creek Trails running along its eastern boundary. Waverley Softball Association and Waverley City Netball Association also run out of spaces that are adjacent to the extensive parklands.
Public Transport
Numerous local buses run throughout Wheelers Hill, many offering links to trains, transport hubs and some of the larger shopping precincts within the wider area.
